About Emerald Isle
Heritage Villa

The Kuttanad region of Central Kerala is full of beautiful waterways and
backwaters and herein lies the Emerald Isle which is isolated from the
bustle of city life, but only so long you like it that way. As it is at the
distance of barely 10 km from the Alappuzha town, you can transfer yourself
quickly from the haven of tranquility to the city centre. Alappuzha city is
the old commercial capital of the then state of Travancore. The place
Emerald Isle Heritage Villa itself is a 150 years old ancestral countryside
structure and is sprawled over an area of 7 acres. Since it is situated in
the countryside, it is but natural that it is abundant in exotic flora,
myriad birds and breathtaking butterflies.
The Emerald Isle Heritage Villa lies in this very island, which is
luxurious and affordable at the same time.
Location
The place is about 10 km from Alleppey (or Alappuzha) which in turn is
about 65 km from Cochin, the new buzzing with activity port city of Kerala.
Alappuzha is also connected with rail and road but you can reach the Emerald
Isle only by boat.
