About Kondai Lip Backwater
resort

It is a lovely heritage resort with an exquisite front portion overlooking
the backwaters at Ezhupunna. You need not rush through anything here for
Kondai Lip is meant for relaxation only. The place still has that virgin
look about it as if nothing has been disturbed here after the place was
constructed. The houses are wooden which emanate an aristocratic feel and
are all ancient as they are all more than a hundred years old. Constructed
according to the principles of Vastu Shastra but the connection with the
ancient period ends here as all the accommodations have been provided with
all the modern amenities.
The resort is spread over an area of more than 10 acres of land and it is
surrounded by shrimp farms with many cultivation farms spread over. Guests
are also allowed to watch and catch prawns. It is partially surrounded by
shallow water all around which are safe for canoeing.
