About Rose Gardens
Rose Gardens is situated amidst fruit bearing trees which are spread in an
area of about 1 acre. It is located on the height of about 3500 feet from
the mean sea level. There are cardamom plantations all around which provide
a cool and soothing environment to the visitors here.
Location
Rose Gardens is an easily accessible homestay and is situated on the
National Highway 49 between Kochi and Munnar. Alwaye is the nearest railway
station whereas nearest airport is the Cochin International Airport.

Those interested in learning how the traditional Kerala dishes are
prepared, may avail the catering classes organized at the place. You can
watch some rare birds around or just experience how cardamoms are harvested.
A trek through the plantations is a different experience altogether.
Sightseeing
Devikulam
This hill station delights you in every respect, be it the velvet lawns or
flora or fauna or the mountains itself, just being here is a rare
experience. The Sita Devi Lake is another attraction of the place which is a
good picnic spot with its picturesque background.
Pallivasal
The first hydro electric project in Kerala is located here and is about 8
km away from Munnar. The tourists are likely to find the place Pallivasal
immensely picturesque.

The place is famous for its freshly prepared home cooked food which is
prepared as per the guest requirement. In beverages you'll be served filter
coffee, vanilla tea, cardamom tea etc on request.
Lodging
This building is more than a hundred years old which has a wooden ceiling
with tiled roofs that gives it an exquisite look. You'll be provided with a
well appointed room along with a veranda and attached modern toilet. In all,
an entire family can have a whale of a time here.
