Museum of Kerala History 
Located at Edapalli on the outskirts of Kochi, the museum has on display
several paintings depicting Kerala's History and life size statues of many
famous personalities including Sir Robert Bristow.
Palliport (Pallipuram) Fort

fort in India. It is located outside the city limits on the northern end of
the island.
Parishit Thamburam Museum
Situated near the famous Siva Temple in Ernakulam is the Parikshith
Thampuram Museum. It houses treasures of archaeological findings and relics
including old coins, sculptures, oil paintings and murals. Image not

Kalady
Kalady a remote place in Cochin, Kerala, the birth place of Adi
Sankaracharya, the great indian Philosopher and also known as the
reincarnation of God of the 8th century AD is now a famous pilgrimage
centre. Just 6Km away from Nedumessary, a must visit pilgrimage. He
propounded the philosophy of Advaita. Adi Sankaracharya was born here in 788
as the only son of Sivaguru and Aryamba, a Kerala Brahmin Coupke.The Srigeri
Mutt is believed to be the located at the place where Sankaracharya's house
was located. 45 m away from the Mutt is the Nine-storeyed Sri Adi Sankara
keerthi Shamba mandapa whish has the illustrations in it that tell the story
of Sankara's Life.
Aluva
Aluva has a historic importance of its own. The place used to be a
continious area of land spread across Kakkanad and Alangad. Historians have
recorded that it was so up to AD 1341. Aluva is rich with many important
landmarks in the state. Uliyannore Temple, built by the master carpenter
Perumthachan and St. Joseph's Pontifical Seminary are just couple of those.
