Sightseeing
Krishnapuram Palace
The palace was built in the reign of Marthanda Varma and is a double storied structure where you can notice all the characteristics of typical Kerala architecture complete with dormar windows and narrow corridors. The palace is also known for the mural painting called Gajendra Moksham.

Ambalappuzha
It is a pilgrimage known for the Sri Krishna Temple about 14 km away for the town of Alappuzha. It is also famous for palpayasam - a sweet milk dish offered to presiding deity of the temple.

Vijaya Beach Park
It is a children's park which is a picnic spot where boating facilities are also provided. You'll enjoy being at the place though you may have to pay nominal charges for availing some facilities at the park.
