is a Laterite Fort that was built in 1505 AD by the first Portuguese Viceroy
with the consent of the then ruling king of the area. The fort went through

Malabar. The fort is now under the Archaeological Survey of India.
Arakkal Kettu
It is at the distance of 3 km from Kannur and used to be the residence of
Arakkal Ali Rajas, who were the only Muslim Royal Family in south India.
Kizhunna Ezhara Beach
This is a secluded beach in Kerala which is about 11 km from Kannur.
