It is a 65 years old heritage home which was earlier known as Kodoth House.

Location
The Gitanjali Heritage is located at Panayal at Kasargod district in north Kerala. You can reach Gitanjali Heritage by rail and road routes pretty easily. Kasargod and Kanhagad are the two nearest railway stations which are 15 km away from the homestay. Mangalore is the nearest airport which is located 65 km to the north.

You won't find us wanting in this aspect at least as we strive to make your visit to Kerala rich with the varied cultural experiences. The place Panyal itself has a rich and diverse cultural history. “Theyyam” is among the oldest ritualistic art form which is spectacular in artistry and symbolism. Another classical art form, Yakshagan is very popular in Kasargod. We will make arrangements to introduce you to these art forms.
Sightseeing
Bekal Fort
It is the largest fort in Kasargod and its history is related to the Vijayanagara empire. The temple within the fort is known as Anjaneya Temple whereas the mosque outside is built by Tipu Sultan. Tourism promotional activities are now taking place so that the place may become more popular.

Kappil Beach
The beach is only 6 km away from the Bekal Fort. There is a cliff nearby which is known as Kodi cliff which affords you a panoramic view of the vast seas.

It is a two storeyed heritage home where you can choose to stay in single or double bedrooms which are pretty well furnished accommodations that come complete with all modern amenities. There are three large living halls which give you a feel of the traditional Kerala and you can use these for business meetings as well.
