Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach of Kerela, with three adjacent crescent beaches. Kovalam has been a favorite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s. Just 16 km south of Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) city, this beach is dotted with palm trees.
