Marari Beach

Mararikulam is a local fishing village and the name of the beach has also been derived from this very village. The lifestyle of the local fishermen has not changed over the years and the moment you reach here you travel back in time to feel the freshness of yesteryears. You'll find here excellent sand beaches along with the traditional Kerala hospitality that will make you feel exclusive but that doesn't mean that you have to spend your vacations alone.

The Marari Beach is not that popular among the tourists though we believe that the situation is not going to remain the same for long.

Many consider Marari to be the best beach in India for its endless stretch of white sand which looks warmly inviting. The place has not been touched by development yet and the tourists who come here love this fact no end. There are no beach shacks at Marari and you will enjoy being with just the sea and the sand.

Though you are at a beach, yet you can easily enjoy a backwater cruise or see the traditional process of making coir locally. The soft sandy beaches are a permanent attraction here and we are not talking about that. Apart from this, you can visit the local fishermen's village Mararikulam where you can see the traditional coir making process. Here you also get to experience the local way of life and culture of the natives.
