About Whispering Pine Woods
It is an intimate and luxurious resort which combines expertise in design, planning and operation of facilities on hills with villages being at the base. It is built on top of one of the finest hills of Kuttikkanam.

There are lush tea gardens all around which make the place pleasantly flooded with greenery. You can see the sunrise from the eastern mountains though the location of the resort makes the days wrapped in mist. The place was one of the favourite retreats of the royal family of Travancore and has now become a sought after destination by the tourist fraternity of the world.

It is situated near Maliakal Tea Gardens, near Marian College at Kuttikanam in Idukki district , Kerala.

Sightseeing
Peeru Hills
It is a delightful hill station and a favourite hot spot for trekking and picnics. The place is named after a Sufi saint who spent his last days here. The other attractions that you should visit here are the mausoleum of the Saint, the summer palace of the royal family and the residence of the Diwan.

Thrissanku Hills
The hills present a lovely landscape which are ideal for long nature walks. These are also excellent spots for viewing the sunrise and sunset. The place is just half a km away from Kuttikanam.

Peermade
It is a renowned plantation town where you can view the landscapes that seem combed by tea, Cardamom, rubber and coffee plantations cascading on the slopes of hills. The place is also delightful for the trekkers for that gives you a never before chance to get close to nature.

Grampi
The place, which is about 10 km away from Kuttikanam, is also known as Parunthupara because of the bird's eye view it provides of the nearby areas. The road leading to Grampi is decorated with verdant plantations of cardamom, tea and coffee on both sides.
